What Caught Miles’ Eye
The Mechanists Revival Steering Wheel Bracelet
This bracelet is one of those inexpensive items that I hesitated to purchase for over three years for no discernible reason. I've had it for a few weeks now, and I think it makes a good edition to my wrist when I attend car events around the city, even if it's a little bit on the nose. Happy Racing!

Ian Fleming’s James Bond Series
I met a wonderful woman at a recent event at the Horological Society of New York, and she told me that she was rereading the original Ian Fleming 007 novels because revised, politically correct iterations are forthcoming. The Mido Ocean Star Decompression Timer 1961 'Rainbow Diver'
Bright colors are absolutely indispensable to my wardrobe, and I get such unique satisfaction from watches that throw notions of subtlety and good taste to the wind. That is what the Mido Ocean Rainbow Diver is to me. Although the dial colors are meant to be used to help divers time their decompressions on the way up from the bottom of the ocean, my guess is that nobody who is buying this rerelease in 2023 will use the dial for such a purpose. For those interested in the original article, Wind Vintage has an original Rainbow Diver currently on offer.

Hermès H Equipe bracelet, Small Model
My love for jewelry and handbags often collide leather bracelets made by Hermès. This bracelet, though, is made of lacquered wood and horn by artisans in Vietnam, and I recently picked one up in pink and blue. This is the perfect piece for summer; oversized on the wrist so that being out in the heat does not make it tight on your arm, and colorful to ward off even the suggestion of winter. I also appreciate this piece because, as far as Hermès jewelry goes, it is inexpensive.

Rowing Blazers Babar Icon Polo
Rowing Blazers is my go to brand for clothes that I can wear in the office and around town, and I am particularly fond of their Babar pieces. The Babar Icon Polo in pink screams "summer weekend on Nantucket" to me and I will be getting great use out of it this season!
